There is a very important woman rarely mentioned in sermons or conversations; yet she is a woman who was reserved for, and called to a very special purpose by God. Tonight we will look at the life of Elizabeth who was prepared for a purpose.
Healed by Jesus, the woman with the issue of blood was an example of faith in action.
There is a woman mention by name in the Bible who was used by God for a very great purpose. When she was a young child, I doubt that she would have imagined what her purpose would be or that she would have desired that purpose. Her name is Anna, and she is recorded as being a prophetess.
We will examine the life of Mary of Bethany to exemplify the principle of choosing and doing the one thing that is necessary for us in our walk with God. The one beneficial activity is spending time alone with God in His Word and in prayer.
When we talk about Martha, she is usually included with her sister Mary. We don’t often separate the two and talk just about Martha. Who was she? How did she think? What can we learn from her? Tonight, we will delve into the scriptures to unearth some treasures which we can learn from with the story of Martha.
God instructed the Israelites that during the days of the Feast of Tabernacles, they were to make temporary booths to dwell in for seven days. What is the meaning and purpose of these temporary dwellings, and what does it mean for us today and in the future?
Let’s look at the book of Song of Solomon containing the story of the Shulamite woman and analyze it to learn it’s literal meaning and what it means for us a women of God today.
The Shunammite woman appears to be a typical woman in her community. Let’s look at her story and learn about her example of hospitality and faithfulness.
