“1 Peter 2:5 – In His Hands, We Are Built”
God uses the word “great” for a reason. This 8th Day is the Last GREAT Day and this word points to the reason why it’s called such. Everything about this day is big, huge, exalted! Everything is on a grand scale. God does things this way.
On this day we are reminded that God will remember all who have ever lived and give them life again. This life is not their only chance for salvation. God has allowed blindness that He might show mercy to all.
One of the responsibilities that we are in training for as true Christians is to be a judge. We are in the process of being confirmed to our positions as judges right now. Are we meeting the qualifications to be just, Godly judges in the Kingdom of God?
The theme of the Feast this year is “Unlocking Salvation’s Plan.” One of the keys to do that is being a light.
As a type of our trials in life we are on our path to the promised land just like the Israelites were and we face a similar set of trials as they did. This is why their examples are recorded for us for lessons that we will need for spiritual survival.
The Millennium will bring restoration to all of creation.
God clearly instructs His people to come before Him and rejoice at the Feast. This message will focus on bringing joy into our Feast experience through the example of Paul’s prison epistle to the church at Philippi.
We’re here at the Feast of Tabernacles to rejoice with each other before God!
