“1 Peter 2:5 – In His Hands, We Are Built”

Today we’re going to look at an Old Testament example of how God used a young lad and his friends to show the rulers of two empires that even though they were strong and mighty rulers over many people and lands, there is a God in heaven that rules over everything and they need to understand that. For us, it’s a lesson on how God will use us if we only humble ourselves.
The Book of Haggai is not necessarily just a book of correction, there is something much deeper if we’ll just look closer.
In the ten commandments, God says He will show mercy to those who love Him and keep His commandments. God reveals His love language when He says “love me and keep my commandments,” and He is speaking our love language when He tells us He desires to forgive our sins and show us mercy.
The growth of our Christian lives depends on a solid foundation to start the building process and to maintain an environment for a stable spiritual base for God to build on. Today we’re going to look at three keys to build and maintain a Foundation for Christian Growth.
While we’re told to not place too much focus on the mother of Jesus Christ, Mary, we still can glean from her example how we are to live a life of virtue no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in.
Might You and I consider this man’s life as an example for us to live by?
How can we prevent the lines of truth and lies, good and evil, from becoming gray in our lives? Today we’re going to look at Solomon’s request for discernment and clear up some of our misconceptions about judging.
We were reading the interactions with Jesus Christ and the woman of Samaria where Jesus Christ told the woman, “The true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth.” That’s what we’re going to focus on today–worshiping in Spirit and Truth.
Might You and I consider many of the Lessons from the Life of Lot that Apply to Us Today?
