Days of Unleavened Bread … Finding Our Way Out – Scott Hoefker – April 27, 2024
In this message we’ll examine what our focus should be during these Seven Days of Unleavened Bread.

In this message we’ll examine what our focus should be during these Seven Days of Unleavened Bread.

We will study the original sin recorded in the bible that occurred even before the sin in the garden of Eden, and examine it in the context of the days of Unleavened Bread. We will compare and contrast the mindset that led to this original sin, with the mindset of Jesus Christ.

We are commanded by God to remove leavening and eat unleavened bread during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Is this a requirement for us in God’s church today?

In this message we’ll to go back to Paul’s instructions on the Passover and take a little closer look at what he wrote, and answer some very basic questions.

Melchizedek is mentioned only twice in scripture in the Old Testament, but yet in the book of Hebrews in the New Testament it is covered extensively. We examine the Old Testament scriptures and review what was written in the book of Hebrews with respect to Christ’s priesthood, as a priest of the order of Melchizedek. We do this in preparation for the coming Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread.

Throughout the Bible, we see God entering into covenant relationships with His people. Abraham, the nation of Israel, and selected individuals down through time since the beginning of the New Testament church of God.

God knew, that apart from a genuine relationship with Him first, humans would not get along. Apart from the “Culture of God” there is no way to unify this world. Is the culture of the world rubbing off on us?
