We celebrate the birth of the nation of the United States every year on July 4th. We will discuss the coming birth of a new nation described in scripture representing God’s promised holy nation which will be a kingdom of priests and a peculiar people.
I’m not asking what the Feast of the Lord (or the Feast of Tabernacles) means, – but I’m asking why it is personally so important to you and me, individually?
God placed a spirit into mankind from the beginning. This ‘spirit in man’ is what makes mankind special in God’s creation. It gives us our incredible abilities and intellect. Most importantly, it allows us to make a special connection to God through His Holy Spirit. Futurists and technologists think they can duplicate this special human quality in machines and artificial intelligence, but they will never crack the unique capabilities of the spirit in man.
Does God care about the mundane things in our lives? What about our dishes? We explore the mention of the subject of dishes in the Bible and discover some deep spiritual lessons that we can learn from such a mundane thing in our lives.
