Let’s examine from God’s Word what is recorded about women’s role in the Church
The Wind, Lightning, Thunder, Smoke, Fire, and Languages … why these things were so important … and why the Day of Pentecost and the original giving of the Law on Mount Sinai are inseparably linked.
Included in the section of Ephesians on the Armor of God is the phrase, “sword of the spirit” – the word of God. This weapon encompasses all of the other armor described, since they would not exist without the word of God.
Let’s consider an important question – What does God’s Spirit do exactly, to accomplish His purpose in us?
We will discuss what is a church and what does it mean? We will then examine the sobering and uplifting messages recorded to the seven churches of Revelation with respect to our own church experiences.
One of the major Themes of Pentecost is “Change”. We must not remain the same as we are. We must yield to Our Father and the Holy Spirit and become a new creation.
John the Baptist came to fulfill a very special mission–to announce the arrival and prepare the way for Jesus Christ.
What is a Mom, and what does God say they are to be?
As the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread come to a close there is a 7 week period leading up to the next holy day season, the feast of the first-fruits (Pentecost). This period of time has been difficult for the people of God in the past because of a loss of focus on God. We look at an example of someone who lost focus during this seven week time period. We compare this loss of focus to a plant wilting in the field, and encourage everyone to remain focused.
