In today’s hypocritical society, an empty appearance of virtue and righteousness is equated with actual virtue and righteousness. This empty appearance is referred to as “virtue signaling” which allows convenient vacuous words and slogans to reflect virtue and righteousness instead of the actual actions which are virtuous and righteous. Our Heavenly Father requires virtuous and righteous actions and not just convenient passive words in our daily lives. Are you virtue signaling in your spiritual life?
